The difference between a good and bad instructor PART 2

Thank your instructor if you've enjoyed the class.

Over the years, when I've attended a good class, I've always gone up to the instructor and thanked them for it , if they're busy with someone else, just a quick smile and a thank you (obviously not for a bad one!) Just a few words can make an instructors night.

When I've covered a class, at the end I always ask them to let reception know if they've liked the class (it also means they'll ask me again).

Even though I've been teaching for over 10 years, I am still thrilled when someone takes the time to thank me or ask advice. It really does make my job worthwhile.

I know I joke on in my sessions, but underneath all that bluff, I'm a very humble person, I certainly am not the type to sing my own praises, but I do hope I am a good instructor.
